Jona Monet is an artist with a deep passion for designing with purpose and using art as a means of advocacy. From an early age, Jona has always been drawn to creativity and expression, starting with simple dots and scribbles that gradually evolved into more complex forms and shapes.

Based out of Washington, DC, Jona has worked on a variety of projects with communities both near and far. She is a proud alumnus of the 202 Creates Cohort, and her designs can be seen on campaigns with Medicaid, Bet+, and Essence Festival.

Jona's work encompasses a range of mediums, from graphic design to mural art to community activism. She has worked on campaigns for political candidates, small businesses, and social justice causes, using her art to create meaningful change and give voice to those who may not have one.

Notable clients include Essence Festival, BET+, Medicaid, and Afro Tech. Her designs have been featured in campaigns for WMATA Metro with Femme Fatale, murals at the Xtra Selfie Museum in the Pentagon City Mall in Arlington VA with ArtBae, and graphic design for Beretta USA and the Department of Transportation.
